Bookentine TBR/ February Contemporary Reads

Time for another readathon TBR! Michelle and Ely over at teaandtitles.com are hosting a readathon called Bookentine between 13th-20th February where the aim is to read contemporary books (these are books that are based in real life). There are three challenges during this readathon that you can participate in if you choose to. I also have three contemporary books that I would like to read this month so I thought that I would write a combined post. Here are the contemporary books I hope to read this month:

books to read during a readathon, book recommendations, contemporary books to read, contemporary book recommendations, readathons, list of readathons,
This recently released novel follows Shelby who discovers that she is in love with her best friend. He hands her a letter but by the time that she opens it, he disappears. This concept sounds very interesting and I can’t wait to read how the character/s develop and how the plot unfolds.

This book follows River, who breaks up with his girlfriend and finds himself just walking. He ends up in a support group or teenagers with addictions and begins lying about himself. Then he falls in love.

This book is due to be released May 1st 2018. In this book, Merrilee believes that boys are better in books. When she transfers to a new school, she finds males that appear to be just like the characters in the books she reads. There appears to be a main love interest, literature studies and the growth of Merrilee as a character. Again, an interesting concept and one that will hopefully be a great read.

So those are the contemporary books that I would like to read this month. Are you participating in Bookentine?
