What I Have Been Up To #2



Hi everyone, so the plan was to read a lot and post more book reviews. However, my health had other ideas and I have had a terrible cold for over a week so I’m a little behind with what I wanted to do. However, I wanted to update you on what I have been doing and some of my future plans.



1.       I decided to provide some of my focus to photography:

I love looking at beautiful scenes and I want to share that with others. It is nice having another artistic outlet and it would be amazing to be able to sell some of my photos.



2.       I started a survey for my blog:

3.       I couldn’t decide what to read:

I have some books that I have been sent to review and others that I want to read from my shelves. I kept wanting to read so many different books that I spent more time thinking and carrying books around than actually reading! So now I am just going to pick up a book and start reading!



4.       I worked on my blog:

I’ve been doing some research and working on my blog. I want to write more book reviews and discuss mental health and personal development. If there are any topics that you would like to see please comment, message me on Twitter or email me. I want to help people more and I just need to work out how, I don’t know if I have enough to say. I am sure that inspiration will strike sooner or later.

UPDATE: Inspiration struck! I am going to read across psychology, therapy and self help books. I will review them but I will also write posts discussing ideas that I found interesting/possibly helpful, perhaps using some of my own experiences. (I am really excited and happy about this that I feel like putting a smiley face!) :)

  1. I have a stack of psychology books I never get around to reading. I've stopped reading self-help books they stopped helping, more of a hinderance after you've read too many. But they do help to a certain extent. I have so many books to read, I can't stop reuqesting books and finding more to review. It's bad

  2. I find the same with self-help, I do like the ones that are like biographies though- I enjoyed Anna Akana and Emma Blackerry's books but I agree the lessons do not seem to last for long. I do that too, I keep wanting to get more books!

  3. I do that all the time - spending more time trying to decide what to read rather than actually reading ahaha! Sometimes there's just too many options!
