Beautiful Classics: Different Editions of Classic Books!

I love looking at beautiful editions of classics, there are so many! I have read a few classics, including Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and Frankenstein but there are a lot more that I would like to read. Here are some beautiful classics that I found:

The first book is a lovely vintage classic of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I love how the cover illustrates two women and the colours reflect the tone of the social class topic of the book.

Next we have an aptly creepy looking cover for Dracula by Bram Stoker. I haven't read this book yet but a friend of mine loved it and I used to love watching Young Dracula so I am interested to check this book out.

    2. Love that edition of Frankenstein. I've read that and Dracula. Ive read afew classics. Jane Eyre is my favourite. I was going to buy a Penguin clothbound edition but didn't fancy it when I seen it in a shop even though I've been on about it for ages. I am looking for a lovely cover. Waterstones have a nice one but it's too much to spend at the moment. I've read Jane Austen and Thomas Hardy. I love classics, I've been doing a read along on this book website and I'm reading The Secret Garden this month.

  2. Hi Lucy,
Oh, I haven't read classics in so long. However, I am hoping to try some Agatha Christi at some point this year. Because I am interested in mysteries, I am looking into stuff that isn't too graphic or upsetting. This is how I heard of Christi as an option. I did gather some Jane Austen novels as well. She writes in a way that doesn't stir my anxiety too much.

So, that's kind of my mission. I want to slowly read stuff that isn't too irritating. I mean, I gave Margaret Atwood's Handmaid's Tale a try and I did not last very long. Same thing with Sylvia Plath.

    1. I listened to Pride and Prejudice on audiobook, I don't think I would have got through the whole physical book. I hope you can find some relaxing things to read!

  3. I am loving those covers! Especially for Great Expectations - although I'm strictly not a fan of Dickens :D
