Dragons In The Clouds by David Blair

Synopsis

Dragons in the Clouds is an epic adventure that takes place during a time period when Dragons were alive and freely roamed the land. The people during this time were getting eaten by a vicious species of Dragons. The ruling King finally orders the total annihilation of all living dragons. A powerful wizard, named Merlinius, who is a friend to the king, does not agree with the King's order, for Merlinius knows all Dragons are not what they seem. So he does what he must to protect a family of Dragons that he had befriended. And to protect his Dragon friends, Merlinius performs the spell of weightlessness and tells the Dragons to fly up and to hide in the cover of the Clouds. He then gives the Dragons strict instruction to live within the clouds and to only come down at night to eat. An apprentice to the wizard who has grandeur of his own has a plan for Dragons that he has hidden deep within a mountain cavern. Now enters a young boy, who had also befriended a dragon, though a very young one, suddenly find themselves caught between the Kings order and a battle that has begun between two species of Dragons. A battle that would determine control of the skies above the Kingdom of Albian. This Apprentice's plan has consequences that may bring the Kingdom and perhaps the very world we live in today to an devastating end.

The Mini Ultimate Colour Combination is such a fun and inspiring little colouring book, bursting with creativity! One of the most exciting things about it is the huge variety of colour palettes included throughout. There are so many different combinations to try—whether you're into soft pastels, bold brights, or earthy tones, there's something here for every mood and style.

Each section includes palettes with 3, 4, 5, and even 6 colours, giving you tons of options to explore. It’s a brilliant way to challenge yourself creatively, add something fresh and interesting to your colouring routine, or simply dive straight into colouring without having to spend time figuring out what colours to use. It takes the guesswork out and adds the fun back in.

The designs themselves are simple yet stylish—just right for experimenting with new colour blends. Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced colourist, this book is a fantastic tool for play and inspiration. I love how quick and satisfying it is to finish a full page using a new palette—it’s a great creative boost, especially when I’m feeling a little stuck.

Hygge Patterns Colouring Book Review

This book was gifted to me in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Hygge Patterns by Sui Sui is a wonderfully calming and heartwarming colouring book that perfectly captures the essence of hygge—that cozy, contented feeling of comfort and warmth. If you're someone who enjoys curling up with a hot drink, soft lighting, and some quiet time to yourself, this book is the perfect companion.

The illustrations are beautifully designed, with a mix of repeating patterns, gentle organic shapes, and cozy homey scenes. There's a softness and flow to the artwork that makes each page feel like a breath of fresh air.

One of the things I really love about this book is how flexible it is—you can either take your time carefully blending shades and filling in all the little details, or just loosely colour with your favorite tones and still end up with a beautiful result. There’s no pressure here, just calm and creative joy.

Sui Sui has done a lovely job of creating a book that feels not just like an art activity, but a little ritual of self-care. I find myself reaching for Hygge Patterns when I need to unwind and slow down—it’s like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket made of line art.

Detectives Mini & Kozy Colouring Book Review

This book was gifted to me in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Detectives Mini & Kozy is a cute and funny colouring book that puts a delightful twist on classic detective and crime scene themes. The illustrations are filled with charm and humor—Mini and Kozy, the adorable detective duo, find themselves in all sorts of silly, mysterious, and unexpected situations.

One of my favorite things about this book is how much variety there is. There are so many pages to choose from, each one totally unique, so it never feels repetitive. I can sit down and colour a couple of scenes when I’m in the mood, and each time it lifts my spirits. The pictures have just the right balance of detail—not too simple, but not so complex that it becomes stressful.

The style is playful and expressive, and you can tell the artist had a lot of fun creating the characters and scenarios. There are clever little details hidden throughout the pages, which makes colouring even more enjoyable. It’s like you're joining Mini & Kozy on their little adventures as you bring each scene to life with colour.

Overall, I highly recommend Detectives Mini & Kozy if you’re looking for a lighthearted, feel-good colouring experience. It’s perfect for unwinding, getting a giggle, and spending some cozy creative time. If you love cute characters, gentle comedy, and mystery with a twist, this book is an absolute treat!

Doggo Moments Colouring Book Review

This book was gifted to me in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

As a dog lover, I was so excited when I saw Doggo Moments announced! There are a lot of cat colouring books out there but not many dog ones. I adore cute cozy colouring and this book is filled with funny cute pictures with dogs!!

Each page feels unique, creating a story and making me smile with the comedy of each scene. I colour the dog first and then fill in the rest of the scene!

The illustrations are super detailed without being overwhelming, which makes it perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can tell the artist really understands dog personalities—each pup has so much character.

If you love dogs and want something lighthearted and feel-good to colour, Doggo Moments is a must-have. It’s not just a colouring book—it’s like a little celebration of everything we love about dogs. I hope they make a second volume! ๐Ÿพ

Friendships Colouring Book Review

This book was gifted to me in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Friendships by Belly Bean Co. is the latest colouring book featuring adorable animals dressed in clothes, depicted in a variety of friendship-themed scenes. If you're a fan of the show Friends, you’ll spot several familiar scenarios — I had a great time colouring these while rewatching the series, and I highly recommend it as a companion activity!

The book also includes a wide range of other fun illustrations, such as animals at a barbecue, in a car, playing snooker, and enjoying a day at the park. If you enjoy colouring different types of scenes, this book offers great variety.

The animal characters change throughout, which keeps things fresh, and the level of detail varies across pages — some are more intricate, while others are simpler, making it easy to pick a page based on how much time or energy you have. The book itself is high quality: with a sheet of paper behind the page, I experienced no bleed-through from my markers. With so many pages included, I know this will keep me happily colouring for quite some time.
