Book Review: Midnight Son: A Prophecies of Ragnarok Story by Marie Sinadjan

I really enjoyed this short story! You follow Baldr, a son of Odin and some of his life. Including some battles, relationships and afterlife. Alongside this is a mystery surrounding his twin brother.

The mystery really kept me reading, I wanted to know what had truly happened and what was really going on.

The story itself was fast-paced and interesting. I liked the transitions between important moments in Baldr's life that had an impact on the plot.

This read almost like a mix of the Thor films and like another ethereal book I read (Utterly Dark and the Face of the Deep).

I didn't always fully understand who each character was and their history but it didn't matter. I really enjoyed the story and I'm excited to pick up the other installments, particularly with how this one ended!

Definitely recommend picking this up!
