Big Pin Energy Pinterest Guide Review!

This post contains affiliate links but all thoughts are my own and honest.

Pinterest can become the number one biggest source of traffic for bloggers and business owners, if you know how best to use it. I tried for a long time to grow my Pinterest using resources I found online, I tried many different strategies but nothing worked. I saw people getting hundreds, even a thousand clicks per pin through implementing the advice in Big Pin Energy, so I decided to take the plunge and give it a go.

In the short time I have been using this guide, I have already been getting more impressions and more importantly, more clicks on my pins. This guide works. But what does this guide feature that you can't find anywhere else? I want to talk about some of the things that this e-book features that I had never seen anywhere else.

Part 1: Setting up & best practices

In the first section, we look at how to set up your Pinterest profile and boards and optimise them to get the most views. Next is how to create clickable pins, the best pinning ratio, how to re-pin without it negatively affecting your impressions and apps to use to make attractive pins for free. My favourite thing in this section was finding out what I should be including in my pin title and description and the best types of designs for pins. Emily describes everything in such an easy way that I could easily implement her advice for my pins.

Another important thing in this section is not only how to make great pins but also how to make story pins and video pins, something that I had no idea how to do or where to start. Pinterest likes to show these types of pins often so by making these you can utilise the algorithm and get more clicks.

Part 2: How to prevent being suspended on Pinterest

This unfortunately happens a lot. Pinterest can accidentally mark people as spam content because they are not following the rules that they don't know exist. Emily goes through all of these rules, what to avoid and what to do to get the best number of impressions. I didn't even know that Pinterest could suspend accounts for simple things before reading this so I'm glad I know what not to do now!

Part 3: Marketing on Pinterest

This section covers a lot of useful topics for if you want to earn from your blog or make more sales of your product/service. It covers how to pin for your email list and affiliate links so that you can optimise your pins to get the most clicks which means more people signing up to your email list that you can monetise and more people seeing your affiliate links so more potential sales. All good stuff.

Part 4: Trends

This is something that I was finding tricky to master. I was doing part of what Emily suggests but I didn't know how best to implement it. This is another in depth section that covers everything you need to know to create content that resonates with what is trending/popular on Pinterest and by doing this you can get way more views and clicks on your pins.

Do you love looking at pictures of beautiful homes, dreaming that yours looked that nice? Discover 4 ways to make your home more beautiful and attractive so you can do just that!

Part 5: What not to do

This is another great section on things that you should not do on Pinterest. A lot of these things, I am guilty of doing in the past and this harshly affects your impressions and clicks. By knowing what to avoid and through knowing what to do, you can sail through the Pinterest algorithm which means that you will get more impressions and clicks than you did before.

Added bonus

An extra thing that you get with this guide is access to a Discord server where you can talk to each other about the best practices for Pinterest and ask Emily and other content creators any questions you may have. I thought this was a nice little feature to have.

Final thoughts

I hope I did this guide justice. I have found it to be so helpful. There were so many things that I didn't know. Things that nobody had told me about Pinterest and I was actually surprised by how much new information I found in this guide.

Through using the advice in this guide I have seen a massive improvement in my analytics. I am getting more impressions on each pin, I have had pins get more clicks in general than they ever were before and I also seem to be getting new followers more often.

If you are new to Pinterest, or if you have been on Pinterest for a while but aren't seeing the results you'd hope, you may want to read Big Pin Energy and change your Pinterest game for the better.

  6. Pinterest is definitely a powerful tool, if used properly. It's challenging to get started, so resources like this are great. I especially appreciate that there are tips for what NOT to do to go along with the what to do tips. That's critically important to avoid missteps.
