Hi everyone and welcome to a new series on my blog where we look at the first sentence of different books! I love doing this. A first sentence can really capture your interest and imagination. So let's take a look at some first lines!

The Spotters swept into the alleyway like sinister shadows that had left their hosts behind to go hunting.
